Address of Ukraine President, Premier Read at Monastery�s 900th Anniversary Celebration

Kyiv�On 10 July 2008, at the National Opera House of Ukraine in Kyiv, a celebration was held on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of St. Michael�s Golden-Domed Monastery. It was attended by Patriarch Filaret (Denysenko), head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate, bishops, and many clergy and believers from all over Ukraine. An address from Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko and Premier Yulia Tymoshenko on the occasion of the anniversary was read.
