Over 100 killed, 200 injured in Jodhpur temple stampede

More than 100 people were killed and over 200 were injured, when a stampede occurred at the Chamunda Devi Temple in Jodhpur today. According to media reports, rumours of a bomb in Mehrangarh near Jodhpur area led to the stampede. A huge number of devotees, especially women, had gathered at the temple from early morning in view of the Navratra festival. According to sources, 50 bodies were brought to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and the others are being sent to Mathura Das Hospital here. (ANI)
