Spiritual Council of Churches and Religious Organizations Established in Kamianets-Podilskyi

Kamianets-Podilskyi� On 8 July 2008, deputies of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council voted for the establishment of a Spiritual Council of Representatives of Churches and Religious Organizations. It was set up as a consultative and advisory body to promote the consolidation of religious and public organizations efforts for the national and spiritual revival of the city and for the coordination of inter-church dialogue on questions of state-Church relations. The Spiritual Council is to organize conferences and seminars on spiritual questions and questions of application and observation of the law on the Freedom of Worship. The Council will also take an active part in the spiritual revival of the city and consolidation of the society�s Christian principles.
