State Committee on Nationalities and Religions to Coordinate Pilgrimage of Chasidic Jews to Ukraine

Kyiv�According to an instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the State Committee of Ukraine on Matters of Nationalities and Religions should contribute to the preparation of the pilgrimage of Chasidic Jews to the grave of Rabbi Nakhman in September 2008. The committee�s representative, the leading specialist of the Department of Promotion of Social and Humanitarian Activity of Religious Organizations, Mykhailo Kushnir, attended an inter-departmental meeting on this issue on 27 June in the town of Uman.
