Stratus Technologies appoints new chairman of board of directors

Stratus Technologies, a provider of software-based servers, has announced that its president and CEO, David Laurello, has been elected as chairman of the board of directors. Former chairman, Stephen Kiely will continue to serve the company as a member of the board.
