Universal and Moscow Patriarchs to Serve Jointly in Kyiv

Kyiv—A joint liturgy with the participation of the Universal Patriarch Bartholomew, Patriarch Alexis of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Volodymyr of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, and heads and representatives of other local Orthodox Churches will be held on St. Volodymyr’s Hill in Kyiv on 27 July 2008. This story, according to orthodoxy.org.ua, was reported by the head of the Department of External Church Relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Archimandrite Cyril (Hovorun), in a commentary posted on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church site.
