City Explorer's Gallery Reception Saturday, the City Explorer's Gallery hosts a cheese and wine opening reception for the Fall Exhibition of The Fort Greene Photography Organization. Exhibiting members include Pavan Carter, Phillipe Dollo, Clay Horne, Marcia Lloyd, Robert Marvin, Syreeta McFadden, Ocean Morisset, Geralyn Shukwit. The exhibition runs until December 10. Downright Closing Party Today, celebrate the accomplishments of 40 artists and illustrators with the closing party for "Downright" curated by Jashar Awan. Knucklehead Blues Reception Saturday, English Kills Art Gallery hosts an opening reception for the double solo show by Jason Eisner and Brent Owens. Amber Alert, Ped, and Superman's Guest List perform. Saturday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 114 Forrest Street. Brooklyn Museum Adult Programs This weekend, Brooklyn Museum presents a number of events. On Saturday, New York artist Mary Beth Edelson speaks. In another event, slam poet Roger Bonair-Agard reads from his book, Masquerade, and leads a workshop (registration required). Anyplace, Brooklyn Tour This Saturday, Anyplace, Brooklyn has an audio tour about development and public space. The one-hour tours begin every five minutes.
