Two more Internet service providers have joined New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's crusade to 5b4 block access to online child pornography at a key distribution source. AOL and AT&T have joined ISPs Verizon, Sprint Nextel and Time Warner Cable in this agreement, in which they cut off server access to Web sites that contain child porn and -- perhaps more controversially -- access to some newsgroups.

Advocates of Net neutrality are preparing to chalk up their first victory following press reports that Federal Com 5b4 munications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin has recommended prohibiting cable giant Comcast from blocking Web traffic between peer-to-peer networks. The recommendation, which still requires action from the full commission, could be precedent-setting.
