One of the goals of my visiting Ukraine is to destroy the myth of alleged decline in the development of Ukraine's military and industrial complex after her joining NATO, he said. Today Ukraine, in particular, is efficiently solving problems and developing strategic air carriages, he stressed. "The aircraft building industry will earn large profit and benefits from approaching to NATO", he said. Ukraine is NATO's only partner participating in all military operations conducted by the alliance, Scheffer said. "Ukraine has already succeeded in allowing her military men to work shoulder-to-shoulder with alliance officers", he said. Besides, the NATO Secretary General acknowledged Ukraine's achievements in carrying out a number of reforms required for her joining the Alliance, and urged the authorities to debate the expediency of Euroatlantic approach more professionally. As Ukrainian News reported, in April the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the strategy for developing military and industrial complex.
