KyivOn 26 June 2008, the clergy of the Kyivan Eparchy met at the assembly hall of the Kyivan Orthodox Theological Academy. The meeting was presided by Patriarch Filaret (Denysenko) of the Kyivan Patriarchate. Participants discussed eparchy life as well as the status of the preparation of events to celebrate the 900th anniversary of the foundation of St. Michaels Golden Domed Monastery and the 1020th anniversary of Baptism of Rus to be held in Kyiv from 11 to 19 July 2008.
