"I'm going to win a gold medal (in Beijing)," said 23-year-old Ben Askren, headed to his first Olympic Games after winning the 163-pound freestyle berth. He was a two-time NCAA champion at Missouri and twice earned the Dan Hodge Trophy as top collegiate wrestler.
