Pope’s Nuncio in Ukraine Asks Sevastopol Authorities to Return Church Building to Roman Catholics

Sevastopol—On 28 November, the Pope’s Nuncio in Ukraine, Ivan Yurkovich met with representatives of the Sevastopol City Council to discuss the possibility of transfer of the building of Druzhba cinema hall to the local Roman Catholic community to be used as a church building. According to www.nr2.ru, the question of the transfer of the cinema to the Catholics has been discussed in Sevastopol for a few years now. The building was a Polish Catholic Church before the war.
