Toyota to build hybrid Prius in the U.S.

Toyota Motor Corp. said today it is shifting its U.S. manufacturing to meet rising demand for more fuel-efficient cars and falling demand for trucks and sport utility vehicles. No full-time workers will be laid off, but temporary workers have been released at several plants.
