KYIV—On 1 July, 2009, in the Polish Catholic Church of St. Mykolai (National House of Organ and Chamber Music) a joint prayer for the good of Ukraine was conducted. The Ukrainian Bible Society called Christians of various confessions to prayer. The Roman Catholic Church provided the building for the concert and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate provided a building for a press conference. Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko sent his greetings to the participants of the joint prayer.
