GE E1250TW digital camera begins shipping : General Imaging has begun shipping its most feature-rich touch-screen digital camera yet, the GE E1250TW. The latest release in the 2009 lineup of GE-branded cameras, the GE E1250TW boasts next-generation touch-panel controls allowing for swiping, rotation and zoom among the many new touch-controlled functions. As with all the new 2009 GE cameras, the E1250TW also features the award winning Pan-Capture Panorama, a simple and effective way to capture scenic-wide images - the ballpark, the mountains, the beach, an urban landscape, or even a large group shot. With a single release of the shutter, a panned scene can be captured easily and more seamlessly than ever before.

HTC Touch Diamond 2 Smartphone review : The HTC Touch Diamond 2 is the successor to the first Diamond version of HTC. And it suffices to say the name could not have been clearer for a new product! All eyes are focused on the feature upgrade, for both the software and hardware. When it comes to housing and design, the HTC Touch Diamond 2 is a real eye-catcher. Also kind of sophisticated, which ensures it stands out from the crowd. Nowadays, it certainly isn't easy for a mobile phone manufacturer to survive. Sales numbers are dropping, the risk of certain segments becoming full is high, and the market demands innovation at a very high speed. The HTC Touch Diamond 2 happily follows in the footsteps and the success of its predecessor.

Filed under: Handsets, Palm, Palm OS, GSM, HSDPA The GSM version of Palm's Pre looks all set for a UK announcement next week on O2. Now we get this, a Pre spotted on the support site for Dutch carrier Hi in The Netherlands. Fine, but what you may not know is that O2 and Hi (part of KPN) are also deeply intertwined with Telefonica -- O2 being owned by Telefonica and KPN being an "integrated carrier" with a long history of Telefonica courtship rumors. So, putting two and two together might equal a September launch if that previous Telefonica rumor was true.[Via Tweakers, thanks Harm H.]Palm Pre in cahoots with Dutch provider Hi originally appeared on Engadget Mobile on Fri, 03 Jul 2009 04:56:00 EST.
